Process to Set Category wise Discount in Marg ERP Software

OVERVIEW/INTRODUCTION TO CATEGORY WISE DISCOUNT IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

• As business grows, the user may have items in stock and managing them becomes more challenging. In Marg ERP Software, user can classify items under several categories. This helps user to organize stock and access them easily, resulting in better inventory management. 

• With the help of the Marg Software user can set the Category wise item discount as per the requirement.

PROCESS TO SET CATEGORY WISE DISCOUNT IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

• Go to Reports > Management Report > Utilities > Multi Editing > Item Master Multi Editing.

Note:- If the user facing issue of 'You are not authorized to use this option' while click on Item master multi editing then the user will resolved this issue by click on the given link : https://bit.ly/31h6pef

• An 'Item Master Multi Editing' window will appear.

• In 'More Options', the user will select 'Yes'.

• A 'More Options' window will appear.

• In 'Selected Category' option, the user will select 'Yes'.

• Then the user will select  Category. Press 'Enter' key on it.

Note: The user can select particular category by pressing 'Spacebar' key or select All categories by pressing '*' key.

• Suppose select 'Tablet'.

• The user will press 'PageDown' key.

• Then click on 'Accept'.

• A 'Closing' window will appear. Press 'Enter' key.

• A 'Multi Editing' window will appear. Select 'All Items'.

• An 'Item Master Multi Editing' window will appear.

• In 'Item Discount %' option, the user will select 'Yes'.

• Then enter discount % as per the requirement.

• Suppose mention '10'.

• Then type 'SURE' and press 'Enter' key.

After following the above steps, the user can view the Item Discount will get set for Selected Category Items.
