How to set software should Generate Master wise Barcode in All Items in Marg Software ?

In order to Auto Generate Barcode Master wise in All Items in Marg Software, the user will follow the below steps:

  • Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room.


  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Generate Batch Barcode'.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • A 'Generate Batch Barcode' window will appear.
  • In 'Item working style' option, the user will select 'B'.
  • In 'Generate Batch BarCode Number on' option, the user will select 'Y'. Press 'ESC' key.

  • The user will select ‘Search in all’.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear.
  • The user will search 'Last Barcode'.
  • Click on 'Accept'.

  • A 'Last Barcode' window will appear.
  • In 'Last BarCode No.', the user will mention the last barcode number a per the requirement.
  • Suppose mention 'AB102225'.


    • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

    • Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

    • Go to Reports > Management Report > Utilities > Multi Editing > Re-Generate BarCode.

    • A 'Re-Generate Barcode' window will appear.
    • The user will type 'SURE'. Press 'Enter' key.

    • A 'Select Company' window will appear.

    Note : The user will select all companies by pressing Asterisk '*' key or select single company by pressing '+' key.

    After following the above steps, the software will Auto Generate Barcode Master wise in All Items.
