OVERVIEW/INTRODUCTION TO OPERATOR WORKING LOG BOOK IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

• Operator Working Log Book in Marg ERP Option is a very beneficial option for multi-users i.e. there is one company and many employees are working under them so there will be multi-systems and this option is useful in this situation. Basically, in multi user there is one main system and rest of the systems are connected with it.

• Operator Working Log Book option enables to view, track and analyse the overall working of the operators. It allows to view the login and logout status of all the operators and which operator has created a new sale for which party on which date and at which time, etc. With the help of this option, the supervisor/admin/manager can view and analyse the logbook of all operators altogether and individually as well.
  

Before using this option the user needs to enable this option from the 'Update Operator Powers & Control room'.

To enable this option from the operator power, please follow the below steps:

• Firstly, Go to Masters > Passwords & Powers > Operator's.

• A 'Password & Authority' window will appear.

• Select the user to make the desired changes.

• A 'Powers' window will appear in which the user will select ‘Search In All’.

• A 'Powers' window will appear in which the user will search 'Logbook' .

• Click on ‘Accept’.

• A 'Logbook' window will appear.

• In 'Operator Logbook V-View D-Delete B-Both' option, the user will select the options as per the requirement.

• V- View:  If the user wants that the supervisor can only view the working of the operator and cannot do any changes in it , or delete anything so for that set here 'V'.

• D-Delete: If the user wants that the supervisor can only delete the working of the operator, so for that set here 'D'.

• B-Both: If the user wants that the supervisor should get Both the authorities like they can view and delete both so for that set hare 'B'.
• Suppose, select 'B'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key.

• Again press 'ESC' key and then click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

• A 'Powers Change' POP-UP will appear in which the user will press 'ESC' key.

• Again Press 'ESC' key and then click on ‘Yes’.

• Now in order to Re- login, the user will press 'Ctrl + U' key on the main screen of the software. 

• A 'Change User' window will appear in which the user will enter the User ID and Password.

• A 'Change User' window will appear in which the user will press 'ESC' Key.

To enable this option from the control room, please follow the below steps:

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Logbook'.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A 'Logbook' window will appear.

• In 'Operator Logbook for M-Modify/B-Both/N-New/X-Not Req.' option, the user will select as per the requirement.

• M-Modify: If the user wants to view only a modified list of bills then set here "M".

• N-New: If the user wants to view the list of new bills then set here "N".

• B-Modify: If the user wants to view both modified and new list of bills then set here "B".
• Suppose, set "B".

Note: The logbook will not get generated until the user will enable this option from here..

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

PROCESS TO VIEW AUDIT TRAIL (OPERATOR WORKING LOG BOOK) IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

• Go to Reports > Operator Working > Operator Logbook.

• An 'Operator Logbook' window will appear.

• Then enter date range, From which date till which date the operator logbook needs to be viewed.

• Now in 'User' option, select the user from the drop down for whom the logbook needs to be viewed.

• Suppose, select '001'.

• Then click on 'View'.

After following the above steps, the user can view that the Operator Working Log Book will get displayed in Marg Software.
