If ' Blank Printer Port ' alert appears at the time of generating GSTR 3B then how to resolve it in Marg Software?

Cause:

This error occurs when the printer port is incorrectly defined in the printer setup.

In order to resolve error of 'Blank Printer Port', the user needs to follow the below steps:

  • Go to Masters > MARG Setups > Printer Setup.

  • A 'Printer Setup' window will appears.
  • The user will click on 'Change'.

  • The user will keep pressing 'Enter' key.
  • In 'Port' option, the user can view the Port Name is Blank.

  • Now, the user needs to define 'LPT1/LPT2..etc' beside the Default printer port of all option as per the requirement.
  •  Press 'Pagedown' key.

  • Click on 'Exit' to save changes.

After following the above steps, the user can view the error of 'Blank Printer Port' will get resolved at the time of generating GSTR 3B.
