In Marg Software, if Tax does not calculated in Purchase Return then it can be resolved easily.

The user can view the tax is not calculating as in type CP 0% is selected, the user needs to change the type of the entry.

In order to Calculate Tax in Purchase Return, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• Go to Transactions > Purchase Return > Modify: D/Note.

• A 'Modify' window will appear.
• The user will select No, Bill Date, Party, etc, as per the requirement.

• A 'Purchase Return As On' window will appear.
• The user will press 'Enter' key on a particular entry in which tax is not calculated.

• A 'Purchase Return Alteration' window will appear.
• The user will click on 'Modify'.

• The user will keep pressing 'Enter' key and when the cursor stops on 'Type', press 'F7' or 'SpaceBar' key.

• A 'Select' window will appear.
• The user will select 'Local/Central' as per the party.
• Suppose select 'Central' and press 'Enter' key.

Note: If All Purchase Type does not display then press 'F7' key.

• The user can view Tax will get loaded.

• Now the user will press 'Ctrl+W' key and click on 'Save Bill' to save changes.

After following the above steps, the user can view Tax will get Calculated in Purchase Return in Marg Software.
