If Bill History does not show while selecting Party in Purchase bill then how to resolve it in Marg Software?

Cause:

This issue appears due to On Account balancing method set in the party details.

If bill History does not show while selecting the party in the Purchase Bill then this issue can easily be resolved in Marg Software.

In order to resolve this issue, the user needs to follow below steps:-

  • Go to Books > All ledgers.

  • A 'Ledgers Accounts' window will appear.
  • The user will press 'F3' on the selected party in which bill history is not showing.
  • Suppose select 'Ranbaxy India Ltd.'.

  • Click on 'Ledger details'.

  • A 'Modify Ledger' window will appear .
  • Click on 'Modify'.

  • In 'Balancing Method' field, select 'Bill by Bill'.

  • Then press 'Ctrl+W' key to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the bill history will be shown while selecting the party in the Purchase bill.
