In Marg Software, if at the time of Creating Purchase Challan an error displays 'You are not authorized to use this option' then this issue can be resolved.

In order to create Purchase challan, the user needs to follow the below mentioned steps:

• Go to Masters > Password & Powers > Operator's.

• A 'Password & Authority' window will appear.

• Select the user to make changes.

• A 'Powers' window will appear in which the user will select ‘Search In All’.

• A 'Powers' window will appear in which the user will search 'Purchase' .

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A  'Purchase' window will appear.

• In 'Purchase & GST Inward' option, the user will select 'Y'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key.

• Again press 'ESC' key and then click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

• A 'Powers Change' POP-UP will appear and then the user will press 'ESC' key.

• Then click on ‘Yes’.

• Now for Re- login the user will press 'Ctrl+U' key on the main screen of the Software. 

• A 'Change User' window will appear in which the user will enter the User ID and Password.

• A 'Change User' window will appear in which the user will press 'ESC' Key.

• After following the above steps, the user can easily create the Purchase challan entry in Marg Software.

1. Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room.

2. A 'Control Room' window will appear.

3. The user will select ‘Search in all’.

4. A 'Controls' window will appear, in which the user will Search 'Challan'.

5. Now, click on ‘Accept’.

6. A 'Challan' window will appear.

7. In 'Challan Entry Required' option, the user will select 'Y'.

8. The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

9. Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.
