In Marg Software, the user can cancel the entry which means when an entry is being cancelled that entry doesn’t get deleted and remain in the records or transactions. It will show the entry as cancelled & the amount and all the items will be deleted from the entry but entry no., narration will remain in the database. 

In order to cancel the Quotation entry, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• Go to Transactions > Quotation > Modify.

• A 'Modify' window will appear.
• The user needs to select the options as per the requirement (i.e. custom, all date etc.)

• A 'Quotation As On' window will appear.

• The user will press 'Enter' on the quotation which needs to be cancel.

• A 'Quotation Alternation' window will appear.

• Click on the 'Cancel'.

• A 'Cancellation Remark' window will appear.
• The user will enter the remark (i.e. reason to cancel the Quotation).

(Note: It is mandatory to give any remark before the cancellation of quotation entry)

• An alert of 'Be Careful' will appear.

• The user will click on 'Yes' to cancel the Quotation.

After the following above steps, the user can view the Quotation will get Cancelled.
