Process to Set Maximum Item Discount Option in Marg Software

OVERVIEW OF MAXIMUM ITEM DISCOUNT OPTION IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Marg ERP has provided a very beneficial provision in the software through which the user can set the maximum discount for any item as per the requirement so that an extra discount is not given than the maximum limit at the time of creating an invoice.

PROCESS TO SET MAXIMUM ITEM DISCOUNT OPTION IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Go to Masters > Rate & Discount Master > Maximum Settings > Maximum Item Discount.

• An alert message of ‘Do you want to give a discount on the selected item’ will appear.
• Click on ‘Yes’.

• The user will view that an Items list will appear.

• Select the item on which the user needs to provide the discount.

• Suppose select ‘Amlogard 5MG’.

• The user will mention the date range for which a discount needs to be given.
• Suppose mention ‘23-04-2023’ till ‘24-04-2023’.

• In ‘Deal’ & ‘Free’ fields, the user will mention like ‘5+1’e. on purchasing 5 quantities then 1 quantity will be given as free.

• The user will mention the Rate as per requirement.
• Suppose, mention ‘450’.

• The user will mention the Discount.
• Suppose mention '2'.

• If the user needs to provide the ‘Volume %’ discount, then mention it as per the requirement.

Note: The discount will be applicable for the mentioned period only.

• Press ‘ESC’ key.

• Click on ‘Yes’.

• Now, the user will generate the sales bill.
• Go to Transactions > Sale > Bill.

• A ‘Sale Entry’ window will appear.

• Select the ‘Party’ as per the requirement.

• Then select the ‘Item’ as per the requirement.

• Mention the ‘Qty.’

• The user can view the discount will auto-load.

• If the user tries to mention the discount more than the fixed discount of '2%' the software will give an alert.
• Suppose mention '3'.

• The user can view software that will give an alert of 'Maximum Discount Limit 2!'.
