In Marg Software, the user can easily Add or Less some % from the Rate of Item at the time of billing. The user has facility to increase or decrease the rate of already Loaded item or New Item in Marg Software.

An 'Acnederm Lot' Item Rate-A is '10' (as shown in below image).

In order to Add or Less % in Item's Rate, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• Suppose the user needs to increase the Rate of New Item in Bill.

• At the time of billing user will press 'F6' key on blank line i.e. Before selecting item.

• A 'Rate %' field will be enabled before sale type option.

• In '0.00' option, the user will enter the % i.e how much % of rate the user needs to increase or decrease from the Rate of the item.

Note: If the user needs to decrease rate then the user needs to use (-) sign before the %.

• Suppose mention '10%'.

Now the user will select the option as per the requirement.

a. New: Select the option if needs to Add or Less % from Rate only in those item which will Load in Sale Bill after enabling this option.

b. Old: Select the option if needs to Add or Less % from Rate in already Loaded item of Sale Bill.

Suppose select 'New'.

• The user will press 'Enter' key and select item according to the requirement.

• Suppose select 'Acnederm Lot'

• Earlier the Rate-A was Rs. 10.

• After mentioning the 10% = [10+(10*10/100)] = Rs.11

After following the above steps, the user can view that the Rate of Item will Auto decrease or Increase according to the define % (as shown in below image).
