In Marg ERP Software, if 'You are not authorized' alert appears while entering shortage in item then it can be resolved easily.

In order to resolve you are not authorized alert, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• Go to Masters > Passwords & Powers > Operators.

• The user will select the operator to make desired changes.
• Suppose select '02' and press 'Enter' key.

• The user will click on ‘Search In All’ option.

• The user will search 'Shortage' and click on 'Accept' button.

• In 'Shortage/Order on * key allowed' option, the user will select 'Y'.

• Press 'Esc' key.

• Click on 'Yes' button.

• A 'Powers Change' POP-UP will appear in which the user will press 'Esc' key.

• Click on 'Yes' button.

• Now, for Re login the user will press 'Ctrl+U' key on the main screen. 

• Enter the User ID and Password.

• Press 'Esc' key.

After following the above steps, the user can view while entering the shortage in item software will not show any alert in Marg ERP Software.
