With the help of Marg ERP software, the user can calculate the CESS om the required value i.e. Tax, Value of goods, Rate* Qty, Total value etc.

In order calculate CESS on the discounted value, the user will follow the below steps:

• A Control Room window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’. Press Enter.

• A Controls window will appear in which the user will Search “Calculate Cess”.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A Calculate Cess window will appear.

• In 'Sales : Calculate on A-Tax/B-Rate*Qty/C-Total/D-Gross/Q-Qty' option, the user will select 'C'.

The user will now press Esc key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the CESS will get calculated on the discounted value of the bill.
