With the help of Marg Software the user can decrease the sale rate for the particular party with some specific percentage.

For example if the Sale Rate of the item is Rs 10 and the user needs to do billing of the same product on Rs 9 for only 'Ahuja Medicine Centre' so there is no need to the user to do it manually, however it can automatically be done by the software.

In order to know the process, the user will follow the below mentioned steps:

• Go to Books > All ledgers. 

• A 'Ledger Alteration' Window will be appear.

• The user will press 'F3' key on that ledger for which  the rate needs to be decreased.

• The user will select 'Other Detail'.

• In 'Rate +' option, the user will mention the percentage which needs to be decreased from the sale rate. 

• Suppose we needs to deduct 10% from the sale rate, so mention '-10'.

Note: Make sure the user has mention '-' (Subtract) sign before the percentage.

• Now press 'CTRL+W' key to save the details.

After following the above steps the software will decrease the defined percentage from the sale rate.

• As the user can view the Actual Sale Rate of the below shown item is Rs '10'.

But, at the time of creating sale bill of party 'Ahuja Medicine Center' (in which we've defined the percentage), the software will decrease the sale rate by 10% (as shown below).

I.e. Rs 10 (Actual Sale Rate) - 10% of Rs 10 (of actual sale rate) = Decreased Sale rate

Hence, Rs 10-1=Rs 9.
