If software does not allow to create new challan with existing challan number although it has been loaded into bill in Marg Software?

Cause:

This issue appears because the software usually saves the records of challan even though after loading in into the sale bill and when the user will create the challan with the Existing challan number then it shows 'Already Exist' as shown below.

In order to resolve this issue, the the user will follow the given steps:

  • Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room. 


  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Delete Challan'.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • A 'Delete Challan' window will appear.
  • In 'Delete Challan record after Loading' option, the user will select 'Y'.

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now, click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the software will not save the challan in the records and will allow the user to create challan with existing challan No. in Marg Software.
