In Marg Software, if the user needs to deduct some Percentage (%) from the Rate in a Particular Item then it can be done easily.

In order to Less some Percentage (%) in Item Rate, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• Suppose there is an Item 'Azmin Cap' with Rate Rs. '150'.

• After loading the Item in Sale Bill, the user need to press 'F5' key or '*' key on particular Item's Rate.

• A window will appear.

• In 'Less Rate' %, the user will mention the Percentage which needs to be Less in Item's Rate and press 'Enter' key.

• Suppose mention '10'.

• The user can view the Item Rate will get deduct with the Defined Percentage.

• Earlier the Rate is 150, Less Rate is 10%.

• Rate = 150 - (150*10/100) 

• Rate = 150 - 15 = 135
