Marg ERP Software can be easily accessed and used by the operators with multiple systems directly from the server on which it is installed.     

Sharing of the systems can be done in two ways:

1. Via Lan cable

2. RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol)

The process of connecting Node/Client PC with the main server (Via Lan Cable) is as follows:

Note: To connect your Node/Client PC with the server you required to do networking of the systems, so firstly co-ordinate with hardware person then follow the given steps for sharing;

Step: 1 Sharing of folder from Server/Main Pc

Step: 2 Security & Permissions to Folder

Step: 3 View Computer Name of Main Server

Step: 4 Mention the noted Computer Name of Main Server on client PC.

Step: 5 Create Software’s Shortcut Icon on Desktop

Step: 1 Sharing of folder from Server/Main Pc

• First of all Right click on Marg Icon > Then select 'Open file Location'.

• Now press Backspace key to switch on the location where your Marg has been installed.

• Now you will re-directed to the folder of Marg.

• Now right click on Marg Folder, then select 'Properties'.

• Now go to ‘Sharing’ section .

• Click on ‘Advanced Settings’.

• Now an Advanced Sharing window will appear.

• Place a Check Mark beside the ‘Share this folder’ option.

• Now click on the highlighted ‘Permission’ option.

• Now Permission for Marg ERP window will appear.

• Then give all the permission to the added user by placing check-marks beside the options.

Note: If the folder of ‘Everyone’ has already been added to the list then simply give the powers but if the folder has not been added then firstly you need to add the folder of ‘Everyone’ by clicking on the ‘Add’ tab.

• Now click on ‘Apply’ to apply all the settings.

• Now click on ‘OK’.

• Now On ‘Advanced sharing’ window, also press ‘OK’.

Step: 2 Security & Permissions to Folder

• Now again Right click on Marg Icon > Then select 'Open file Location'.

• Now press Backspace key to switch on the location where your Marg has been installed.

• Now you will re-directed to the folder of Marg.

• Now right click on Marg Folder, then select 'Properties'.

• Now go to 'Security Section'.

• Then, ‘Permission for Marg’ window will appear.

• Now the user needs to give full control to all the users of the system by placing a check mark on 'Allow'.

Note: If the folder of ‘Everyone’ has already been added to the list then simply give the powers but if the folder has not been added then firstly you need to add the folder of ‘Everyone’ by clicking on the ‘Add’ tab.

• Now click on 'Apply'.

• Then click on 'Ok' to apply the settings.

Step: 3 View Computer Name of Main Server

• Firstly, from the Server/Main PC you need to Go to 'This PC'/My Computers' tab.

Now Right click on 'This PC'.

• Select 'Properties' option.

• Now You've to Note the 'Full Computer' name from the main system. 

• Suppose,"\\M-TECH-PC82".

Step: 4 Mention the noted Computer Name of Main Server on client PC.

• On the Node/Client PC open Run Command and type the noted full computer name of server PC. Suppose, “\\M-TECH-PC82”.

• Now click on ‘OK’

• Now the shared folder will get displayed.

• Then Right click on the shared folder and select ‘Map Network Drive’.

• Now the shared folder will get mapped with Node/Client PC.

• Then click on ‘Finish’.

Step: 5 Create Software’s Shortcut Icon on Desktop

• Go to Marg folder where the Marg has been shared.

• Then open the selected folder.

• Then the user will search 'Margwin'.

• Then Right click on Margwin and select 'Sent to' > Desktop (Create Desktop).

Thereafter the icon will get created on the desktop.
