In Marg Erp software user can set whether the short amount of single entry is posted in party ledger or in Bank / Cash ledger as per the requirement.

In order to post short amount in party ledger, please follow the below steps:

• Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room. Press Enter.

• A Control Room window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’. Press Enter.

• A Controls window will appear in which the user will Search “Short”.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A 'Short' window will appear.

• In 'Short Amount Posting in collection Effect 1-Party 2-Bank/Cash' option, the user will select '1'.

• The user will now press Esc key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the short & exess amount will get posted in the party ledger.
