• Firstly, go to Stocks > Stock Valuation.

• A 'Stock Valuation' window will appear.

• In ‘Stock as on’, the user will enter the date that till when the user needs to view the stock.

• Now in ‘Valuation On’ the user will choose 'Cost+Ext'.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• Now the stock valuation of all items will get displayed, where the user needs to press 'ALT+P' key.

• In next window, select 'Stock Statement'.

• An 'Index on' window will appear.

• Select the option as per the requirement.

• Suppose select 'Group Type'.

• On next window, select 'Company'

• A 'Company' window will appear, where the user can set all the options as per the requirement.

• Then click on 'View'.

After following the above steps, the stock valuation report will get generated on the basis of cost in Marg Software.
