• Stock valuation means calculating the value of the closing stock.
• In Marg ERP Software, with the use of Stock Valuation Report the user can view stock in hand and also the present value of the stock.
• Stock valuation report is generated in 2 methods i.e. on average rate basis and the other is last rate basis. The user can choose to value their stock in both of these methods.

Process Of Stock Valuation In Marg ERP Software

• Go to Stocks > Stock Valuation.

• The user will select the Store as per the requirement by pressing '+' key.
• Suppose select ‘Whole’ and press 'Enter' key.

The user will select the options as per the requirement.

a. Selected Company: The user will select 'Y' to view the report for a particular Company otherwise keep it as 'No'.

b. Stock as on: The user will enter the Date till which report needs to be viewed.

c. Report Batch wise: The user will select 'Y' to view the report Batch wise otherwise keep it as 'No'.

d. Stock Status: The user will select the Status of Stock i.e. Whole, Available and Random, etc as per the requirement.

e. Selected Salt: The user will select 'Y' to view the report for a particular Salt otherwise keep it as 'No'.

f. Valuation On: The user will select the 'Valuation Rate of Stock' i.e. Cost+Ext., Rate A and Rate B, etc as per the requirement.

g. Valuation Bases On: The user will select the 'Valuation bases of Stock' i.e. Master or Average as per the requirement.

h. With Tax: The user will select 'Y' to view the report with 'Tax' otherwise keep it as 'No'.

i. More Options: The user will select the More filters as per the requirement.

Now, click on ‘Accept’ button.

• To view the report in Excel, the user can click on Excel button below.

Note: The user can use 'Alt+P' key for more filtration.

After following the above steps, the user can generate Stock Valuation Report in Marg ERP Software.

1. Go to Stocks > Stock Valuation.

2. A 'Stock Valuation' window will appear. The user will select option as per the requirement and Click on the 'Accept'.

3. A 'Stock Valuation' report will get generate.

4. The user will click on 'Cursor to Report' Icon (as shown in image).

5. A 'Marg Cursor to Report' window will appear.

6. The user can generate report in 'DBF/Text/ CSV/Excel' etc. as per the requirement.
