If opening balance showing alert 'Opening balance freez' , then this issue can be easily resolve in Marg Software.

In order to remove this error user needs to follow the given steps:

• Firstly, Go to Masters > Password & Powers > Operator's. Press 'Enter'

• A 'Password & Authority' window will appear.

• Select the user to make changes.

• Suppose user select 'A'.Press 'Enter'.

• A 'Powers' window will appear in which the user will select ‘Search In All’.

• A 'Powers' window will appear in which the user will search 'Modification'.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A 'Modification' window will appear.

• In 'All Accounting & Billing Modification Allowed Upto' ,the user will set '0' .

• The user will now press 'ESC' key.

• Again press 'ESC' key and then click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

• A 'Powers Change' POP-UP will appear and then the user will press 'ESC' key.

• Press 'ESC' key and then click on ‘Yes’.

• Now for Re- login the user will press 'Ctrl + U' on the main screen. 

• A 'Change User' window will appear in which the user will enter the User ID and Password.

• A 'Change Use'r window will appear in which the user will press 'ESC' Key.

After following the above steps the error of 'Opening Balance Freez' will be remove from opening window.

Solution

1. Go to Master > MargSetup > Control Room. Press 'Enter'.

2. A 'Control Room' window will appear > The user will select ‘Search in All’. Press 'Enter'.

3. Then user will Search 'Opening Balance' >Now click on ‘Accept’.

4. An 'Opening Balance' window will appear. In ‘Freez Opening Balances’ set 'Y'.

5. The user will now press 'ESC' key twice >Then click on ‘Yes’ to Save changes.
