If Last deleted Bill Number does not pick in New Sale Bill in Series wise Billing then how to resolve it in Marg Software ?

In Marg Software if in Series wise Billing user is creating a New Sale Bill after deleting the last Bill, the software is not picking the Last Bill Number which was deleted from that series then this issue can be resolved easily.

Suppose the user have a Bill No. A000003, and user needs to delete the bill.

After deleting the Bill Number A000003, the user can view the Bills A000001 & A000002.

Now, if  the user is creating new Sale Bill the software is Auto Picking Bill no. A000004 not the Last deleted Bill Number A000003, this issue can be resolved easily.

In order to Pick Last Deleted Bill no, the user needs to follow the below steps:

  • Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.


  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Series'.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • A 'Series' window will appear.
  • In 'Auto Multi Series for' option, the user will select 'M'.

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can view the software is Auto Picking the Last deleted Bill number A000003.
