How to fix an alert of ' No Record Found ' which appears while creating contra entry in Marg Software ?

Cause:

This issue appears when the user has selected the wrong group of accounts for the Cash & Bank ledger.

Solution:

In order to resolve 'No Record Found', the user needs to follow the below steps:

  • Go to Books > All Ledgers.

  • The user will press 'F3' key on Cash/Bank ledger which is not showing while doing entry.
  • Suppose select 'Cash'.

  • Select 'Ledger detail'.

  • Click on 'Modify' button.

  • Now in 'Account Group' option, the user will select 'No'.

  • Now, the user will select the group 'Cash in Hand'.
  • Press 'Enter' key on it.

  • Now press 'Ctrl+W' to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can view 'No Record Found' alert will get resolved while creating Contra Entry in Marg Software.

If the issue still remains the same, the user needs to follow the below steps:

1. Create New Ledger in 'Cash in Hand' or 'Bank Account' group as per the ledger nature.

2. Press 'F7' key on ledger list while creating Contra entry.
