If ' Invalid GSTIN No ' alert appears while creating Payment Entry then how to resolve it in Marg Software ?

If in Marg Software alert of 'Invalid GSTIN No.' while passing payment entry show then this issue can easily be resolve in Marg Software.

Cause 

This alert appears when the user has mentioned the wrong GST Number of the party in the party ledger.

Solution

In order to resolve this issue, the user has to correct the GST Number of the party number in the ledger or disable this alert by following the below given steps:

• Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room. Press 'Enter'.

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘GST Setup’. 

• A 'VAT Setup' window will appear in which the user will click on 'Accept'.

• A 'VAT Setup' window will appear.

• In 'If GST Validate GSTIN Number' option, the user will select 'N'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the software will not show error of Invalid GSTIN No. at the time of creating payment entry in Marg Software.
