OVERVIEW OF SMS ON WHATSAPP THROUGH API IN MARG SOFTWARE

• In Marg Software, SMS Setup is a facility for sending direct transactional messages to debtors, and creditors for their bills & the details of their receipts & payment entries.
• With the help of whatsapp API configuration, the user can share SMS directly on WhatsApp by doing SMS setup in the software.

PROCESS OF CONFIGURE WHATSAPP API IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘SMS Setup’. 

• A 'SMS Setup' window will appear where the user will click on ‘Accept’.

A 'SMS Setup' window will appear.

In 'SMS through M-Marg Server / N-Net / X-Not Required' option, the user will select option as per the requirement.

1. M-Marg Server: If the user needs to send SMS through the Marg server then set 'M' and the user shall make sure that the server file should be opened.

2. N-Net: If the user needs to send SMS through the net then set ‘N’ and the user shall make sure that the system is connected to the net.

Suppose select 'N'.

• In 'Want to change SMS string' option, the user will select 'Y'. 

A 'SMS String' window will appear. The user will enter the Whatsapp API.

a. (1): In the field of contact number, the user will mention '1'.

b. (2): In the field of default SMS, the user will mention '2'.

• In ‘Default Message in All SMS', the user will mention the default message which needs to send to all SMS.

• In ‘Mobile No. Length’, the user will here set the mobile number length. By default, it is set as 10.

• In 'Convert SMS in universal hex code' option, the user will select 'X'.

• In ‘SMS of Bill on New/Modify/Both/Print/afterLR/billAudit/X-No’, the user will select 'Y'.

• Now here the user will set that the SMS will be sent after creating a New bill / after modification / after LR or both as per the requirement.

• Suppose select 'B' for both and press 'PageDown' key.

• In ‘SMS for Billing D-Default R-Retail W-Wholesale B-Both’, the user will select to send SMS on Default/Retail/Wholesale/Both billing as per the requirement.

• Suppose select 'B'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

PROCESS TO ADD MOBILE NUMBER IN LEDGER IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Go to Masters > Ledger Master > Ledger > Modify Ledger.

• A 'Ledger Alteration' window will appear.
• the user will press 'Enter' key on a particular ledger whose Mobile Number needs to be updated.
• Suppose select 'Ahuja Medicine Centre'.

• Now the user will select 'SMS , Email & GEO'.

• A 'SMS & Email' window will appear.
• The user will mention the contact number in both the Mobile number field and whatsapp Number.
• Keep pressing 'Enter' key.

• A Marg ERP 9+ alert of 'Save Mobile in Master' will appear.
• Click on 'Yes'.

PROCESS TO SMS SALE BILL DETAILS ON WHATSAPP IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Thereafter the user will create sale bill and click on 'Save' to save it.

• A 'Marg ERP 9+ alert of 'Want to send SMS' will appear.
• Click on 'Yes'.

After following the above steps, the user can send SMS on Whatsapp through API in Marg Software.
