If ' 6 Digit HSN Code is Mandatory for Tax Payer ' alert appears while Uploading e - Invoice then how to resolve it in Marg Software ?
Cause:
In GST E-invoice system from December 04, 2023, it has been mandated that a minimum of 6 digits of the HSN code will be compulsory in e-invoices for taxpayers with an Aggregate Annual Turnover (AATO) of 5 Crore and above.
Solution:
In order to resolve ' 6 Digit HSN code is Mandatory for Tax Payer ', the user needs to follow the below steps:
- The user needs to update the 6 Digit HSN Code in Item Master.
After following the above steps, the user can Upload e-Invoice and an error of ' 6 Digit HSN code is Mandatory for Tax Payer ' will get resolve in Marg Software.
