PROCESS TO APPLY ITEM WISE CESS IN MARG SOFTWARE

  • Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will search 'Calculate Cess'.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • A 'Calculate Cess' window will appear.
  • In ‘Sales: Calculate on A-Tax B-Rate*Qty C-Total D-Gross Q-Qty F-Free M-MRP*Qty I-Master’ option, the user will select ‘I’.

  • The user will press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Click on ‘Yes’ to save changes.

PROCESS TO ADD CESS IN ITEM MASTER IN MARG SOFTWARE

  • Go to Masters > Inventory Master > Item Master.

  • An 'Items' window will appear.
  • The user will press 'Enter' key on particular item on which cess needs to be apply.
  • Suppose select 'Acnederm Lot'.

A 'Modify Prodict' window will appear.

The user will press 'SpaceBar' key or mention the calculation type on which basis the cess needs to be calculate.

1. A-Tax: Select 'A' if needs to calculate cess on Tax Value of Item.

2. B-Rate*Qty: Select 'B' if needs to calculate cess on Rate*Qty of Item.

3. C-Total: Select 'C' if needs to calculate cess on Total value of Item.

4 D-Gross: Select 'D' if needs to calculate cess on Gross value of Item.

5 Q-Qty: Select 'Q' if needs to calculate cess on Qty of Item.

6. F-Free: Select 'F' if needs to calculate cess on Free value of Item.

7. M-MRP*Qty: Select 'M' if needs to calculate cess on MRP value of Item.

Suppose mention 'C'.

  • A 'Modify Prodict' window will appear.
  • The user will mention the Cess in percentage as per the reuqirement.
  • Suppose mention 10%.

  • Now the user will press 'Ctrl+W' and click on 'Save' to save changes.

PROCESS TO CREATE SALE BILL IN MARG SOFTWARE

  • Now the user will create a sale bill and load the items as per the requirement.
  • Suppose select 'Acnederm Lot 20ML'.
  • Cess = (Total)*10%
  • Cess = (100)*10%
  • Cess = 100*10% = ₹10
